As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team and help build a robust supply chain emphasizing nearshoring in Europe and future expansion into the MENA region.

 

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead the development of our supply chain operations. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management, particularly in nearshoring within Europe, and the ambition to expand into the MENA region in the coming years. Startup experience and a willingness to contribute beyond typical responsibilities in a flexible, fast-paced environment are highly valued.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy focusing on nearshoring in Europe.

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and manufacturers in Europe, ensuring they meet our quality, cost, and sustainability standards.

  • Plan and oversee the integration of new suppliers into the supply chain, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining product quality and consistency.

  • Manage logistics, inventory, and distribution processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Collaborate closely with the engineering, product development, and sales teams to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

  • Implement and maintain supply chain systems and software to track and manage inventory, shipments, and supplier performance.

  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions.

  • Prepare and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.

  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and support other team members as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on nearshoring in Europe.

  • Proven experience in a startup or dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Mechanical engineering background and/or knowledge of CAD modeling is a strong plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French, Arabic) are a plus.
