As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team and help build a robust supply chain emphasizing nearshoring in Europe and future expansion into the MENA region.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead the development of our supply chain operations. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management, particularly in nearshoring within Europe, and the ambition to expand into the MENA region in the coming years. Startup experience and a willingness to contribute beyond typical responsibilities in a flexible, fast-paced environment are highly valued.

Description

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy focusing on nearshoring in Europe.
Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and manufacturers in Europe, ensuring they meet our quality, cost, and sustainability standards.
Plan and oversee the integration of new suppliers into the supply chain, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining product quality and consistency.
Manage logistics, inventory, and distribution processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate closely with the engineering, product development, and sales teams to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Implement and maintain supply chain systems and software to track and manage inventory, shipments, and supplier performance.
Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions.
Prepare and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
Contribute to cross-functional projects and support other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on nearshoring in Europe.
Proven experience in a startup or dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Mechanical engineering background and/or knowledge of CAD modeling is a strong plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French, Arabic) are a plus.
